Without a doubt, this is the best remedy for stubborn limescale, and you don’t even have to go to the store.

Removing limescale is one of those household tasks that we have all encountered, and let’s face it, we often don’t always achieve the desired results even with expensive chemicals available in stores.
Say goodbye to expensive cleaning products
Removing limescale is one of the biggest household challenges. Everyone has experienced scale buildup in the bathroom, kitchen, or kettle. Most people use expensive chemicals to remove it, but there is an effective, cheap, and natural solution that can be found in almost every household: vinegar.

White vinegar is not only cheap, but it’s also extremely effective when it comes to removing limescale. Plus, it’s so easy to use that anyone can easily use it at home without having to buy various harmful chemicals. Now we’ll show you how to get the best results and save a little money in the process.

Cleaning bathroom surfaces with vinegar
The bathroom is one of the rooms where limescale is most likely to build up on tiles, shower stalls, and faucets. A simple but effective method is to mix white vinegar and lukewarm water in a 1:1 ratio and pour it into a spray bottle. If you don’t like the strong smell of vinegar, you can add a few drops of lemon juice or essential oil. Spray the vinegar solution on the tiles, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe it with a soft sponge without rubbing. Then rinse and wipe dry. Vinegar effectively removes not only limescale, but also mold.

Descaling kettles and coffee makers
Kettle scale is one of the most common problems that we can experience in every household. The best solution is to use a mixture of vinegar and water to remove scale. For 1 liter of water, you need 3 dl of white vinegar, then pour this mixture into the kettle and boil it. The acidity of the vinegar removes the deposits, and then all that remains is to rinse the kettle thoroughly. It is important to rinse it several times with clean water so that the vinegar smell completely disappears. In the case of coffee makers, especially the “drip” versions, we can also use this method, and then rinse the machine thoroughly.
