3 medium apples (preferably slightly sour, such as Grey Renetta or Jonagold)

3 eggs

250 ml of tea

250 ml 00 flour

2 tablespoons sugar (or to taste)

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

butter or oil for greasing the pan

powdered sugar for sprinkling (optional)
