With these simple ingredients you can prepare a soft and tasty cake.

Preparing the dough

Beat the butter with the sugar.

In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Using an electric mixer, this will take 3 to 5 minutes.

Add the eggs and vanilla.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, add the vanilla extract to flavor the mixture.

Mix the dry ingredients.

In another bowl, mix the flour with the salt, then gradually add this mixture to the creamy mixture.

Add the walnuts.

Gently fold in the pistachios and cranberries. This will give the cake a gorgeous color and an irresistible flavor.

Shape and freeze

To shape the dough,

Roll out the dough on a piece of cling film, form a tight roll, wrap it well and place it in the freezer for at least 2 hours.

Once the dough is completely frozen, remove it from the freezer and let it rest at room temperature for a few minutes. This will make it easier to cut. Cut the roll into circles about 1 cm thick.
