A pretentious woman, a 72-year-old waitress, called me ‘rude’ and left with a $112 bill – I showed her she’d picked the wrong grandmother

“She thinks she’s safe now,” Simon said.
Sabrina grabbed her phone and ran for the exit.
When we got inside, Sabrina was trying on heels. She was filming her feet, talking about fashion, and I could see the relief on her face. She thought she’d escaped.
I approached calmly and placed the receipt on the mirror in front of her.
“You want new shoes? Pay for your meal first.”
She jumped up so hard she knocked over a display.
“Oh my God! You’re crazy!”
“I’m determined. There’s a difference, darling.”
She thought she’d escaped.
The saleswoman was trying not to laugh. “Ma’am, maybe you should just pay her.”
Sabrina grabbed her purse and dashed out, leaving the heels behind.
She ran into a café.
Through the window, I saw her order something. She kept looking at the door. When ten minutes passed and we hadn’t appeared, she visibly relaxed.
She even started live streaming again. “Okay, crisis averted. I’m in this cute little cafe now.”
The cashier was trying not to laugh.
I didn’t say anything at first. I just walked over to the counter next to her and ordered a decaf. She saw me, and her latte slipped from her hands, splattering all over the counter.
