A pretentious woman, a 72-year-old waitress, called me ‘rude’ and left with a $112 bill – I showed her she’d picked the wrong grandmother

“Me,” I said pleasantly. “You know, you could have saved yourself a lot of trouble by simply paying at the restaurant.”
“It’s business, honey. And I’m not leaving until this $112 bill is paid.”
Simon leaned forward. “Ma’am, pay it. It won’t stop.”
His latte slipped from his hands.
Sabrina looked around frantically, then ran out of the café.
I grabbed my decaf and followed her at a leisurely pace.
She walked to the park. I saw her checking behind the trees, glancing back over her shoulder. When she didn’t see me for 15 minutes, she finally sat down by the fountain.
She took out her phone and started filming. “Okay, I’m calming down now. Deep breaths.”
I sat down on the bench right behind her. “Still here. Still waiting.”
“Okay, I’m calming down now. Deep breaths.”
She yelled and almost dropped her phone in the fountain. But I caught it mid-air and handed it back to her with a smile.
