Apple and Cocoa Compote (without flour)
Ingredients:
- 1 kg apples, peeled and chopped (about 7-8 medium apples)
- Water (enough to cover the apples)
- 300g dark chocolate (chopped or chocolate chips)
Procedure:
- Prepare the apples:
- Wash, peel, and cut the apples into medium-sized pieces. You can choose any type of apple you like, but sweet apples like Fuji or Gala are perfect for this dish.
- Cooking apples:
- Place the chopped apples in a large pot and cover with enough water to cover the apples.
- Cook over medium-low heat for about 20-30 minutes, or until the apples have softened and released their juices.
- Add the chocolate:
- Once the apples are soft, add the chopped dark chocolate. Stir well until the chocolate melts completely, creating a sweet, creamy “compote.”
